Update on my final sessions: Maria on the admin staff has been exceptionally gracious to me throughout this entire process. I’m not even a client anymore and she still keeps in contact with me to make sure I’m doing well. I had 1:1 sessions with Katey M. And her counseling and support was informative, and she truly gave me much needed guidance. Although I had a rocky beginning with SR, I’d like to take this time to thank Maria and Katey so very much for their kind care and support. Had an assessment after IDRC and I had a different type of case. The assessment was not aligned with someone who has been through a recovery process with addiction. Their assessment of me, which was done by an Intern, nonetheless, was based on them asking a list of questions and not relating nor taking into consideration someone’s current sobriety. As far as I’m concerned, they want more $$ so that is why I was told I needed further treatment. I was told my word and dictation along with my religion and my recovery through my church was not enough to have them verify my three years of sobriety. I also could have done without the use of the “F” word from the staff and the not wearing gloves when handling a urine specimen.

I cannot express enough gratitude for the incredible support and care I received at Social Recovery Center. The women counselors here are truly wonderful and beautiful, both inside and out. As a provider, I take pride in rendering professional and authentic services for healing. It is important to have that reciprocated and I am happy to have that with Social Recovery . There is open and honest communication. There is a shared purpose for the participants in providing for a safe and honorable space for recovery and calmness. I came here knowing nothing about recovery from addiction and was made to feel at home and safe immediately. The counselors are very compassionate and truly do care about clients. Social Recovery was a very important place on my road to recovery. If you are serious about doing something about your addiction, these folks can and will help you.

This program is an amazing place to find healing sobriety and the tools to self love. Before I came here I was a all out addict. I didn't see sobriety in my future however after attending Social Recovery, I learned that life had more to offer than delusions. Because of this place I'm living a full life filled with happiness and joy. I honestly have no idea where I'd be without Social Recovery . I'll forever be grateful to the people here; Maria, Gabby, Taleen, Katie, Akhila, Olga, Danielle and Alexis. Thank you All for helping me get my life back and helping me learn to love myself. Without you guys I'd probably be dead, so thank you. If anyone is looking to get back on track and get back to living and not just existing Social Recovery is the best place to do it I'm living proof that there's life after addiction.

I should start off by saying I was apprehensive AF,, but that was all alleviated once I talked to the Maria who does the admissions.. she was thorough and pleasant to say the least,, onward to my counselor.. and counselors… ; Good people…… interns as well !! I picked up so many good vibes which made learning a heck of a lot easier.. when dealing with some serious business so to speak,, anyways,,, your in good mind there ,,,good luck in your travels

The staff makes what could be a difficult time very easy and comfortable. The care that you receive is fantastic. Aside from great counseling, there is a family atmosphere. There are many activities to make you feel like you can have fun again.

Best support in North Jersey. Staff will bend over backwards to ensure growth and peace. Groups are always a safe place to share. New gambling program is first of its kind, great support!

My experience here was amazing!!! This is a 100% non judgmental environment. Staff members are highly intelligent. This combination made recovery treatment so pleasant and helpful. They have great ideas to offer and availability when needed. I highly recommend them.

Had a great time at family night doing yoga. It was nice to see people from the meetings. My girlfriend came and really enjoyed it as well. The staff are always very kind and understanding. Can't recommend them enough. Very caring and thoughtful.

I am a client of this place and i have to tell you that Maria and Katey are the best hard working women i have ever met!!! They clean, they sell, they teach and they even stuff the coffee machine. They are wonderful ❤️

This is Arthur. Had a great night last night doing yoga with my sister. She enjoyed it as well. I'd highly recommend it with a friend or loved one. Glad I had a chance to do it. Attending Social Recovery Center was blessing in disguise for me. I was referred for the IOP program and the first few visits were a roller coaster ride for me but I'm glad I stuck with it and kept an open mind. From my initial intake conversation with Maria, to the counselors that ran group, like Brian, Akilah, Melissa and TJ, everyone was great. I learned some great tools from the counselors and I appreciated their commitment to ensuring my wellbeing was a top priority. Whatever your reason for attending, go in with an open mind, participate and contribute and I'm sure you will have a positive experience. Best of luck.

Social recovery center saved my life they got me put a 3 year long ptsd cycle where I was just using to cover it up they stayed with me through a few relapses never judging me and only working with me to not treat me like another number but as a human being as a person I am forever grateful for what they have done to help me even as I am writing this I am tearing up this program actually cares about its clients which is a rarity these day they gave me emdr little r therapy they met with me week after week and showed me the caring I so desperately needed at this point in my life to work through my trauma today I have 162 days sober and am forever grateful to this program there are no words to explain what they have done for me they will stay with you every step of the way on your journey and then some I feel as if it were not for them I would still be drinking and drugging they have transformed me as a person and made me who I am today yes I put in the work but they guided me and helped me to become the version of myself to actually be able to function and not just survive there are two things there is surviving and then there is l8ving and they helped me to actually live and be who I am supposed to be and helped me to create a new life if anyone there reads this there are no words for the gratitude I hold for this program

I started this program in October of 2022 & I must say the staff are more than amazing, they’re caring and loving and understanding. I wish people who are struggling with anything would take the time and check this program out I’m beyond grateful for every single staff member and social recovery itself what it stands for what it provides us with and just everything about it.

Social Club House is a great out patient program. Very informative and helpful not only to their clients but to their families also.
